PART-TIME FACULTY FOR COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS ONLINE PROGRAMS

The University of the Virgin Islands is seeking part-time faculty to teach online in the following disciplines: Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Computer Science.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Teach students in an online instructional setting.
2. Function as the principal source of instruction and faculty of record for the online course offered for academic credit.
3. Responsible for course planning and development.
4. Prepare and deliver course content in accordance with student needs and academic quality requirements.
5. Conduct comprehensive assessment and grading in the assigned online course.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree with at least 18 Credit Hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited University. Three years of higher education teaching preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD with two years of higher education teaching online preferred.
