Job Description:

Fanshawe College is seeking a part-time Accreditation Specialist for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the School of Health Sciences, the Centre for Academic Excellence, and Health Education Accreditation (EQual) to support the MRI accreditation process and prepare the MRI accreditation package. This part-time position is up to 10 hours per week to accommodate the project timeline and will primarily involve remote work, with occasional on-campus meetings as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and submission of the accreditation package for the MRI program.
  • Collaborate with program faculty, staff, and students to gather and organize self-assessment documentation, evidence, and data.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with the accreditation body, faculty, and external partners.
  • Maintain and organize a repository of all accreditation documents and materials for reference.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and responses for self-assessment submissions.
  • Act as the liaison for the MRI program, addressing questions and providing additional materials as needed by the accreditation team.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
  • CAMRT certification in MRI.
  • Registration with CMRITO in Ontario.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with program accreditation processes, preferably in healthcare or post-secondary education settings.
  • Experience working with Health Education Accreditation (EQual) is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience preparing quality reports.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
