About the opportunity:In this dynamic role, you will facilitate community involvement in the delivery of parks recreation services for the City. You’ll also be responsible for park, sport field, outdoor facility, school bookings, park recreation agreements and partnership coordination. You will use your independent initiative and ability to professionally and effectively interact with a diverse range of clients in this high-profile role. Your well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills will assist you in providing quality service to our clientele.
About your background:Along with a diploma or degree in recreation, sport administration or a related field, you have at least two years of related experience in recreation programming or sport administration. You have considerable knowledge and demonstrated expertise in park and recreation programming. You have a strong customer service focus, are flexible and adaptable and can work independently with sound judgement. A valid, full privilege Class 5 driver’s license is required along with a Police Information Check for offences related to the position.
