Our client is an established full-service law firm in Calgary, Alberta, specializing in debt recovery, including both secured and unsecured collections. With a growing portfolio of clients, including those in the financial sector, they’re seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic and dedicated team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft and prepare Statements of Claim and Default Judgments.
- Handle Motions, Affidavits of Service, and Affidavits of Enforcement.
- Manage Garnishment follow-ups and Writ filings.
- Communicate with debtors to resolve outstanding judgment debts.
- Liaise with Provincial and KB court offices.
- Support various administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- College Diploma.
- Licensed Paralegal Certificate.
- 1-2 years of paralegal experience preferred, particularly in civil litigation or debt recovery.
- Ability to adapt to custom-built software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
- Team player mindset — collaborative and reliable.
- Self-motivated and driven to meet targets.
