Painter and Sandblasting Specialist

Job Description:

As a Sandblast Painter and Specialist at Guardians Tanks, you will be responsible for the preparation and finishing of tank surfaces, using sandblasting and industrial painting techniques to ensure optimum quality and durability:

- Surface preparation:

1. Sandblast metal surfaces to remove rust, old paint coats, and other impurities.
2. Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and applying special primers in preparation for painting.

- Paint application:

1. Apply coats of industrial paint, anticorrosive paints, and specific finishes in compliance with protocols and quality standards.
2. Check the quality of work carried out, and detect and correct any defects.

- Maintenance and safety:

1. Maintain and service sandblasting and spraying equipment.
2. Comply strictly with safety instructions, environmental procedures, and technical standards in force.
3. Collaborate with production teams to ensure coordinated, on-time work.

Profile required:

1. Proven experience or solid training in industrial painting and sandblasting, ideally in a tank manufacturing or metallurgy environment.
2. Mastery of sandblasting techniques, surface preparation, and application of specialized paints.
3. Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality standards relating to sandblasting and painting processes.
4. Detail-oriented, rigorous, and quality-conscious.
5. Ability to work as part of a team, good communication skills, and autonomy.
6. Driver's license and flexible hours are assets.
