Package Handler

Shift : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Starting Wage : $19.00 / hour

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finishing Area Worker to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to trim, finish, and repair products to meet specifications within the allotted timeframe. The ideal candidate will have previous general labour, assembly, or factory experience and be comfortable using measuring tools and hand tools. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inspect, repair, and fix blemishes on products with safety and efficiency.
• Perform testing procedures according to LMI and customer specifications.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality and manufacturing standards.
• Accurately complete all required documentation.
• Follow and maintain assigned repair schedules and quotas.
• Assist team members when needed to support production goals.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Report any health and safety concerns to the floor supervisor.
• Provide training and coaching to team members when required.
• Foster a collaborative and cooperative team environment.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Previous general labour or manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in assembly, factory work, or finishing is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply drawing information.
• Proficiency in measurement and unit conversions.
• Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
