Overnight Biomedical Assembler

Agilus is recruiting for an Overnight Biomedical Assembler in the Life Sciences Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. As an Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the proper function of assembly lines in a clean room environment, working frequently around chemicals and raw materials. Your expertise in technical ability, eye for detail and time management will impact our client's continued success and business. The ideal candidate for this position is looking to learn all aspects of the manufacturing process. This is a great position for someone who has strong organization and detail-oriented skills.

A day in the life:

1. Make required material changes in a timely manner at all points in the process and in accordance with documented procedures and GMP standards and practices.
2. Record accurate, legible data to minimize lost processing time.
3. Evaluate quality and productivity problems to minimize defects and maximize throughput.
4. Safeguard the work environment to facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture.
5. Operate multiple manufacturing machines simultaneously in a clean room setting.

Requirements:

1. Completion of secondary school and/or WES Evaluation if education has been obtained outside of Canada (Required).
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
3. Strong hand-to-eye skill and coordination.
4. Able to attend scheduled shifts: Wed/Thurs/Fri and every second Saturday, from 6:30 pm - 6:30 am.

1. Ability to follow precise instructions with minimal guidance.
2. Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot manufacturing errors in a dynamic and changing working environment.
3. Strong communication skills.
