Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our client base and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of industrial products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the civil, environmental, forestry, mining, oil & gas, and the pipeline sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in industrial supply or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of products used in civil, environmental, forestry, mining, oil & gas, and the pipeline sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 50% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
