OUtbound Coordinator

Outbound Coordinator - Ottawa, ON

We are actively seeking a dispatcher, on behalf of one of Canada's most reputable Transportation and Logistics Companies. In this role, you will be responsible for handling drivers and the paperwork related to their route, going over PODs and ensuring all shipments are going out smoothly.

Title: Outbound Coordinator
Pay: $21/hr
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Hours: 2pm - 10:30pm
Training: 12pm - 8:30pm
Location: Ottawa East (Industrial Area)

Responsibilities:

• Verify the routes with the drivers
• Drivers come in and hand in the paperwork
• Work within a fast-paced environment
• Organize freight within the warehouse
• Go over PODs
• Enter data and bills of lading/manifests into computers
• Additional duties as requested and assigned by supervisor/lead hand

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Criminal record check may be required as part of the onboarding process
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and products such as Microsoft Office tools
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with little to no supervision
• Ability to work within a team environment
