Temporary 14-month Assignment
Today, the Royal College has over 55,000 members and the vision remains to advance the learning for specialist physicians to deliver the best health care for all. The Royal College partners and collaborates to lead the evolution of specialty medical education and standards; support specialist physicians, learners and teams to continuously improve; and advocate for excellence in specialty medicine by supporting innovation, well-being, equity and person-centered care. Situated on the beautiful Rideau Canal overlooking TD Place, the Royal College is a national nonprofit organization established to oversee the medical education of specialists in Canada.
Reporting to the Executive Director, People and Inclusion, the incumbent has deliverables in the following areas:
Does this sound like you?
• Level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business, Education, Health Disciplines or related field.
• 5-8 years’ experience in the development and delivery of HR programs for both staff and leaders.
• Superior training, facilitation, and presentation skills, as well as a highly developed sense of accountability and client orientation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to offer clear and concise articulation of complex initiatives.
• Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills.
• Interpersonal and networking skills with a proven track record of dealing with clients, management, colleagues, and staff.
• Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong Asset: Attainment of or progressing towards a recognized designation such as Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP), Certified Training Practitioner (CTP), Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) or equivalent designation.
• Assets: Bilingualism, Change Management Certification or designation, International Coaching Federation (ICT) certificate.
