These candidates should have org design all over their resume. Not looking for an HR person that has org structure. Not looking for a PM. Strategic advisor required. Org Design and Change management will be in partnership. Consulting experience is a huge plus. Org design work samples will need to be provided. Use cases provided. 4 functional partner teams that are business facing, starting with executive lead design work. Work will continue as the leaders delegate it down to continue that work through the entire organization. Very high level, strategic, executive facing consultant is required.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement organizational design strategies that align with business goals to optimize target operating models, role definitions, governance structures, processes and capabilities.
Lead the implementation of organizational design changes, ensuring alignment with approved model and approach.
Develop and manage detailed workforce transition plans, including timelines, dependencies and contingency strategies.
Act as the primary liaison between the Organizational Effectiveness team and business leaders, ensuring continuity and clarity in execution.
Facilitate team effectiveness sessions and realignment discussions to align OD implementation with workforce capabilities and business objectives.
Oversee tracking mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of the workforce transition and structural changes.
Partner with Client Services / HRBP business leaders and other stakeholders to lead the communications and engagement initiatives, supporting morale during the transition period.
Document lessons learned and continuous improvements for future organizational design implementations.
Project Management:
Lead the project management of change and OD implementation activities, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, risk mitigation strategies and resource allocation if needed.
Oversee cross-functional teams and project-specific change management workstream to ensure alignment on project deliverables and milestones.
Proactively identify risks and issues, developing solutions to mitigate potential impacts on project outcomes.
Maintain project status reports and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders, delivering insights into progress, challenges and outcomes.
Establish a clear governance framework to ensure accountability and transparency in project execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Human Capital consulting, including Change Management, Organizational Design, Human Resources, and Project Management, focusing on designing and delivering change management and organizational design solutions.
Proven track record of leading end-to-end change management efforts for large-scale organizational initiatives.
Expertise in organizational design strategies, principles, framework, approaches and solutions to support business objectives and workforce planning.
Demonstrated experience in implementing workforce transitions, role realignment communications, and team effectiveness strategies.
Strong project management experience with expertise in managing complex and cross-functional projects.
