Job description

Position: CWA Organisation Change Lead

Location: London / Suffolk

Function: Strategy

Job Purpose: As the CWA Organisation Change Lead, you will report to the Head of Strategy and Transformation. Your primary responsibilities include establishing the Civil Works Alliance Change Management Office and leading change management strategies to ensure alignment with the Alliance's strategic objectives. You will drive successful transformation initiatives, foster agility, and enhance employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    1. Develop and execute the Alliance's change management framework and strategy.
    2. Align change initiatives with business objectives.
    3. Partner with senior leadership to identify transformation opportunities and risks.
  2. Program Oversight:
    1. Oversee planning and execution of change management projects.
    2. Establish and manage the Change Management Office.
    3. Ensure projects adhere to change management protocols.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    1. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    2. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
    3. Act as a trusted advisor to executives and managers.
  4. Training and Capacity Building:
    1. Develop and deliver change management training programs.
    2. Equip teams with necessary skills and resources.
    3. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
  5. Metrics and Reporting:
    1. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    2. Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.
    3. Ensure regular reporting of change impacts to executive leadership.

Requirements:

  1. Proven leadership and influence in cross-functional teams.
  2. Expertise in change management frameworks.
  3. Strategic thinking with alignment of change initiatives to long-term goals.
  4. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  5. Extensive experience in organizational change management, within a leadership role.

Desirable:

  1. Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  2. Familiarity with organizational design or digital transformation.
  3. Professional certifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
