Description

Our Client is seeking an Organizational Change Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of change management strategies and deliver training programs for a new system adoption. The Change Manager will collaborate with project teams, leadership, and other key stakeholders in designing and implementing effective strategies to manage change, creating and executing training materials, and ensuring successful delivery of training to all relevant stakeholders. The role also involves overseeing communications and engagement activities to foster buy-in from all stakeholders.

Resource will work remotely, but an on-site presence will be required for strategic meetings, team discussions, consultative meetings, and training sessions. The project team is located in Edmonton, and training will be conducted in both Edmonton and Calgary. Standard hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 MST. Work must be done from within Canada due to network and data security issues. Resource is responsible for travel to on-site meetings. Must be a Canadian Citizen to apply.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills
  1. Resource must meet or exceed one of the following combinations of experience: Change Management certification or accreditation (e.g., Prosci, or similar) from a recognized issuing body and 8 years of related experience.
  2. 5 years of demonstrated experience leading training activities and working as a Trainer for complex technology/software applications.
  3. 1 year of demonstrated experience working as an Organizational Change Manager on at least 1 complex technology/software application project.
  4. 5 years of experience delivering training sessions in-person and online via web-based interactive technology (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
  5. 8 years of experience developing change management deliverables (e.g., Change Strategy and Plans, Readiness Assessment, Resistance Management Plan, Change Impact Analysis, Impact Assessments, etc.).
  6. 5 years of experience developing effective communication materials for stakeholders.
  7. 5 years of experience developing training deliverables (e.g., training strategy, plans, training program, training needs analysis, etc.).
  8. 5 years of experience developing user-friendly training materials for in-person, virtual, and self-paced training.
  9. Resource must agree to a Criminal Records Check and Enhanced Security Clearance including a credit check prior to commencement.

  1. Meet or exceed one of the following combinations of experience: Trainer or Adult Learning certification, accreditation, or Education-related degree/diploma from a recognized issuing body and 8 years of related experience.
  2. 1 year of demonstrated experience working as an Organizational Change Manager on at least 1 project in a large organization or public service environment, impacting 100+ staff.
  3. 1 year of demonstrated experience working as Trainer on at least 1 project in a large organization or public service environment, impacting 100+ staff.
  4. 5 years of experience defining and measuring project change success metrics and progress.
  5. 5 years of experience developing and delivering communications and presentations at multiple levels of an organization (e.g., Executive Management, Management, Program Sponsors, Steering Committee, Branch Managers, End Users).
  6. 5 years of experience developing effective communication deliverables (e.g., communication plans, schedules and strategies, etc.).
  7. 5 years of experience developing learning outcomes and assessing student understanding and success.
  8. 5 years of experience fostering effective working relationships with leadership and stakeholders.
  9. 5 years of experience in change risk management.
  10. 5 years of experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
  11. 1 year of experience using MS Office 2016 products or higher versions.
  12. 1 year of experience using SharePoint online.
  13. 1 year of experience working with or testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions (CRM, Finance) or similar platforms.
