Ophthalmic / Optometric Technician

Job Description - Candidate should have experience as an Ophthalmic / Optometric Technician.

Responsibilities:

1. Work up patients, including entering data into Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
2. Check vision.
3. Administer eye drops.
4. Perform a variety of diagnostic tests, such as OCT and Visual Fields.
5. Sanitize rooms and equipment.
6. Stock rooms.

Required Skills:

1. Familiarity with EMR.
2. Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
3. Accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Covid vaccination required and must be willing to wear mask at work.

Qualifications:

1. Ophthalmic Technician certificate or willingness to complete course.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week

Additional pay:
