Description

This role is responsible for assisting in the development and deployment of operational technology at Purolator courier including, mobility, ARC, mail reweigh and soft automation projects. This role works as part of the technology development team to ensure the proper maintenance of existing technologies and the development of new technologies. The Operations Technologist will be involved in other technical projects relating to Trak3, mobility, End to End Scanning and 100% induction.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and repair on ARC technologies and other specialized equipment.
2. Develop and analyze reports to improve performance.
3. Work with technology development team on development and deployment of new devices.
4. Assist in troubleshooting of technology issues.
5. Manage various technology projects within Tech Dev.
6. Test new products/programs on the mobile scanning units.
7. Research new technologies that can enhance and improve scanner capabilities.
