Position Overview
The Coordinator, Operations Support is responsible for assisting with Supply Chain activities that support our customers through the movement of goods throughout our network.
What You'll Do
- Support requests to ship inventory for various channels, selecting the most efficient mode of service and communicating effectively to service providers and requesters.
- Monitor progress of shipments and engage service providers to resolve any potential barriers for on-time delivery.
- Provide requestors with relevant updates including tracking details, proof of delivery, delays, etc.
- Maintain end-to-end tracker of shipments with all pertinent details.
- Generate customs documentation as required to ensure compliance of cross-border and international shipments.
- Troubleshoot missing documentation information by navigating systems and engaging the right teams to support.
- Provide necessary documentation to service providers in an efficient manner to avoid delays.
- Perform virtual inventory movements to systemically allocate inventory as required.
- Log departmental IT tickets, categorize and update with resolution, etc.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives such as Friends & Family events, New Store Openings, New Product Launches, Corporate Projects, etc.
- Create and maintain SOP documentation to support daily activities.
- Support other operational activities as required.
Let's Talk About You
- 2-3 years of business experience, preferably in Distribution or Logistics.
- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma.
- Supply Chain and/or Trade Certification an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Good financial, business, and customer experience awareness.
- Adaptability and flexibility with taking on different tasks as required.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Exceptional at fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
