Executes on annual commercial plan & strategic plan to drive market share growth, long-term profitability, and greater customer engagement.
Aligns Canada strategic sales plan to OUs.
Recommends and influences investment decision-making to drive sales performance and margin growth including go-to-market strategies.
Designs and leads organization structure aligned with required capabilities to win in the market.
Accountable for execution of product roadmap in assigned region in alignment with company’s overall portfolio management strategies.
Accountable for creating innovative solutions to optimize growth.
Leads the field sales organization and collaborates with marketing and other stakeholders to increase the access and adoption of Medtronic's products by developing and/or executing strategic field activities involving market development, customer education, training, and product messaging.
In collaboration with Marketing, Strategy, and Business transformation teams, develops and drives product and service strategies, operational excellence & compliance with quality systems.
Collaborates and shares accountability with stakeholders and other shared services within Medtronic Canada as well as within the Global Region / Functions and global operating units to create and execute long-term strategies that will drive the full potential of assigned operating units in the Canadian healthcare market.
Accountable for the overall revenue and margin attainment for the Canada subregion.

Member of CLT; takes active role in all IBP cycles including Unit Demand Reviews inputs to Marketing teams, Portfolio Management Reviews, Management Business reviews, Sales Calls, Strategic Plan inputs, AOP, and IBP forecast cycles for revenue and standard gross margins.

Manages the business to ensure accountability for performance and facilitates the development of talent to build a strong pipeline of sales personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge / Education:
Advanced degree.
Job Experience:
Minimum 15 years of relevant sales experience with a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years of managerial experience, or;
Minimum 13 years of relevant sales experience and minimum of 10 years of managerial experience with an advanced degree.
