Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our company operations team in material management, procurement, project managers, operations, field engineering, and manufacturing. This role is essential in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, reflecting MTM’s commitment to excellence. The Operations Manager will work closely with our engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer service teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  1. Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
  2. Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions as it relates to customer requirements.
  3. Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends.
  4. Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
  5. Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout; implement changes.
  6. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal and company regulations.
  7. Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations.
  8. Responsible for all operations, material management, procurement, and manufacturing employees.
  9. Responsible for all aspects of vehicle and heavy equipment rentals.
  10. Establish contracts and pricing and ensure proper maintenance while serving as the primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health, and safety agencies.
  11. Manage relationships with key operations vendors.
  12. Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.
  13. Communicate customer issues with the operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
  14. Work closely with GM, engineering manager, and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
  15. Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings.
  16. Maintain project schedules, identifying and communicating issues in both master schedule and individual project budgets/schedules. Manage project managers to ensure individual schedules are accurate and implemented in accordance with company procedures and requirements.
  17. Plan and execute project load outs.
  18. Ensure manufacturing and project 3-week schedules are executed weekly with reference to individual project schedules and master schedule.
  19. Provide priorities to assembly and machine shop based on the master schedule.
  20. Ensure the safety of employees and work with safety officers for all improvements and initiatives.
  21. Setup and account for project materials, purchased parts, and identify procurement items in accordance with company initiatives, procedures, and processes as defined by the General Manager.
  22. Direct Supervisor – General Manager – alignment and implementation of procedures across all operations along with other duties as assigned.
  23. Ensure 3-week schedules are updated and reviewed weekly with all operations staff with reference to the master schedule.
  24. Align procurement, materials management, field engineering, project managers, and manufacturing to master schedule requirements providing timely updates and risk assessment and mitigations.
  25. Report and provide assessments of project statuses relating to progress metrics and quality inspections.
  26. Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
