Job description

The Education Board for BC aims to improve quality of life and human development of children, youth, and young adults through education, with a deliberate focus on serving the vulnerable.

About the Role

Reporting to BC’s Chairman and Honorary Secretary, the Operations Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Board on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

  1. Document minutes in regular cadence meetings.
  2. Organize and schedule meetings, including booking meeting spaces as required.
  3. Support in organizing various logistical requirements for meetings and sessions.
  4. Work closely with the Council Secretariat to ensure required materials are properly distributed when required.
  5. Maintain and update various contact lists.
  6. Support the Honorary Secretary and Project Manager on preparation for Full Session Meetings (FSMs).
  7. Other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Relevant administrative experience and/or willingness to learn administrative skills.
  2. Experience in using MS Teams.
  3. Excellent written and communication skills.
