Duration: Mar. 17/25 to Mar. 16/26

Hours: Availability and willingness to work: day and evening rotations including weekends and an on-call schedule. Sample rotations: day (8:00 am-5:00 pm), evening (2:00 pm – 11:00 pm), weekend (10:00 am – 11:00 pm)

Pay Rate: $28.57/hour

Locations: Hybrid, in office Mon, Tues, Thurs – Chatham ON, N7M 5M1

Job Title: GMS Analyst (Gas Management Services)

The GMS team is an exciting and dynamic group that is integral in contributing to the overall success of Energy Services. The team has accountability for achieving revenue targets, operational perfection, and customer service excellence. It ensures that natural gas flow requests are met daily on a timely and accurate basis for all customers and suppliers at the Dawn Hub and various pipelines.

As a GMS Analyst, you will gain an understanding of the natural gas market, coupled with the opportunity to interact and develop relationships with numerous departments and customers.

What You Will Do

  1. Issue and confirm natural gas flow requests for customers, suppliers, and pipelines.
  2. Validate daily gas flows on transmission pipeline interconnects, storage facilities and third-party transmission pipelines.
  3. Prepare accurate monthly activity statements for EGI customers used for invoicing and verification of gas supply and transportation invoices.
  4. Respond to inquiries from pipelines, suppliers, and customers.
  5. Ensure any discrepancies are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Develop and maintain positive business relationships with customers, agents, marketers, and interconnecting pipelines.
  7. Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to GMS Analysts, customers, and stakeholders.

MUST HAVE

  1. College diploma and/or university degree.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Proven understanding of PC applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Web browsers) required.

Nice to have

  1. Ability to quickly learn information technology systems used to enable GMS business processes is an asset.
  2. Proven ability to work under tight deadlines is desired.
  3. Two or more years of previous scheduling experience or comparable industry experience is desired.
