Job Overview:

The role requires an individual with IBM Mainframe experience with expertise in IDMS and Easytrieve.

The key responsibilities will be to extract data from IDMS on the mainframe and work with the rest of the development team to transform and migrate the data to SQL Server.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with IBM Mainframes as a DBA or developer.
• Expertise in IDMS and Easytrieve is a must.
• Knowledge of DB2 would be an additional asset.
• Should be able to write queries in IDMS to extract and transform data from the mainframe database.
• Knowledge of SQL Server to help with data migration from mainframe to SQL Server.
