Online Personal Shopper - Bilingual

PPL (People) Agency has partnered with a leading innovator in the luxury home appliance sector and we’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced salesperson to join our dynamic online sales and marketing team. Our client is dedicated to creating cutting-edge and user-friendly products that enhance the lives of their customers!

As an Online Personal Shopper, you will be pivotal in providing high-quality sales support and customer service to our online shoppers. You will engage consumers during their shopping journey, provide personalized shopping assistance and ensure we’re offering a full-service experience designed to bring happiness and well-being to every home. You’ll tailor your sales approach in a format that suits the shoppers' needs, whether via online chat, email, or phone. You’ll manage the sales cycle from start to finish! You’ll be the go-to expert where it comes to pre-purchase product expertise, product ordering and checkout, delivery support, and post-sale use and care!

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional shopping experience when assisting shoppers through ordering via email, phone, online chat and even text
  • Maximize sales conversion through excellent customer service, product knowledge and follow-up on calls and emails to finalize sales and meet KPIs
  • Exceed customer expectations by providing high-level care and service
  • Ensure orders are processed quickly and accurately
  • Address any order adjustments and billing corrections completely with strong attention to detail
  • Support post-purchase ownership experience, including delivery and service scheduling, replacement parts ordering, and customer relations
  • Initiate cold calls to build awareness around our transactional website and promote our services to select 3rd party business partners
  • Work closely with E-Commerce, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to understand sales goals, product positioning and market trends
  • Align communication with overall marketing and business objectives
  • Check and promptly reply to all product reviews based on the company's policies and standards
  • Proactively utilize the CRM system to record and maintain customer information, feedback, and insights to be used by internal teams to drive business success
  • Understand the value of retail channel partners and how to qualify leads appropriately to enhance brand loyalty across channels
  • Review monthly reports to measure performance based on the identified key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies based on data insights

Nice to Haves:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing, or equivalent experience, is considered an asset but not required
  • Track record of sales success and/or exceptional customer support
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment to achieve personal, team, and company-wide goals
  • Strong work ethic with integrity, self-motivation, and personal responsibility
  • Experience with inbound call-center or equivalent customer service experience
  • Proactive in staying current with all promotional opportunities that will deliver the best value for shoppers
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to exceed sales objectives and represent the brand with integrity

Need to Have:

  • 3-5 years of high-level client service or sales experience
  • Bilingual in English and French (Willing to make exception for the right candidate)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including a variety of online platforms and office software
  • Reliable home internet service and a quiet home office space to work from
