TRITAN has partnered with an exciting construction firm looking for a site superintendent for their Edmonton team. Our client is profoundly committed to their values and delivering on their promises. They are an innovative firm motivated to disrupt and reinvent the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • As a Superintendent, you will oversee their construction projects through to successful completion.
  • You will organize and coordinate all site activities and supervise crews to complete the project on time and within budget.
  • Manage all on-site activities; ensure project construction is executed safely, timely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule regularly
  • You will be responsible for job site safety, scheduling, trade coordination, project meetings, inspections and quality control.
  • Ensure the Quality Control / Quality Assurance process is adhered to.
  • Reviewing all work drawings to identify conflicts and issues in advance.
  • Create schedules and assist sub-trades in complying with and maintaining productivity.
  • Liaison with clients and stakeholders to create working relationships
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to other team members
  • Implement and enforce the requirements of OHS and the Construction Health and Safety Program
  • Constantly strive to improve company processes and the quality of the finished product

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience as a site superintendent
  • Experience working in residential Multifamily Projects considered an asset
  • An Ability to read, interpret, and understand building drawings, specifications, contract documents, shop drawings, etc.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, codes and best practices in the construction environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced organization, continually meeting deadlines.
