Where: 412 Elizabeth Ave, St John's, NL A1B 1V3

Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent)

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $25/hour
  • Overtime Rate: $37.5/hour (after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week)
  • Work Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Benefits:

  • 2 weeks of paid vacation
  • Provincial and federal holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming phone calls, including relaying messages, screening, taking notes, and answering queries.
  • Check and distribute incoming mail and emails.
  • Schedule and confirm employer appointments.
  • Monitor inventory and order office supplies as needed.
  • Determine and establish office procedures.
  • Train and supervise other office staff.
  • Set up and maintain a computerized information filing system.
  • Prepare office correspondences, invoices, and other documents as required.
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using computers and office software.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
