YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Health & Safety Superintendent, you will be part of the Health & Safety Department. You will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Detour Lake Medical Director, mine site physician assistants, Wellness Manager, and Human Resources partners to implement and monitor the occupational health and wellness program. You will provide feedback on completion of the medical surveillance program monitoring exposure to specific workplace hazards while remaining consistent with the operating philosophy of the Company in accordance with our Health and Safety Programs. You will possess a defined body of advanced medical knowledge, clinical and procedural skills, and professional attitudes that are directed towards effective employee care. Your role will emphasize education, surveillance, and prevention, with an increased awareness of overall wellbeing. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
