Occupational Health and Safety Officer - Teacher Assistant

Position Summary:

As a faculty member of Herzing College, the Occupational Health and Safety department delivers lectures and assists students in achieving their career goals. The Teacher Assistant will have experience and extensive knowledge in areas (not limited to) hazard recognition, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, worker health and wellness, risk management, etc.

The qualified candidate will be able to work days 9 to 2.

Qualifications:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience working as an occupational health and safety officer.
• College education and/or University degree.
• Experience using LMS - Moodle.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
