Position Summary: The N&FS assistant is responsible for the portioning and assembly of various foods including daily sandwiches. The assistant provides support to the production and portioning areas as assigned and is responsible for daily and special cleaning. Contribute to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Position Requirements

  • As of March 1, 2025, Food Handler Certificate is a requirement.
  • Able to work in a refrigerated environment.
  • Accurate and efficient.
  • Able to deal tactfully with others and work as part of a team.
  • Well organized.
  • Aware of proper cleaning procedures.
  • Able to read and write English.
  • Previous food services experience an asset.
  • Able to work on a fast-moving beltline.
