Nutrition Coordinator

We are seeking a detail oriented, service minded Nutrition Coordinator for our team at Complete Purchasing Services. Our organization provides world class value to its clients, through proprietary purchasing systems, value added marketing programs and continuous improvements in menu planning. When it comes to menu planning, the Nutrition Coordinator plays an important role. You will be responsible for entry, migration and quality assurance of recipe and menu data within the enterprise recipe and menu management software. This position works independently on data migration projects required by Complete Purchasing Services. This role reports directly to the Director, Professional Services & Corporate Registered Dietitian.

This is a CONTRACT role for 6 months and the successful candidate is only expected to work 2 days per week. This is a remote role.

Job Responsibilities

Database Migration and Maintenance

• Responsible for entering ingredients, recipes and menu data into enterprise software system.
• Maintain the corporate database for CPS and GESPRA Menu programs, including but not limited to; product and nutrient links, product codes and pricing for specific distribution centres, recipes and menus.
• Maintain portal content for the COMPLETE-GESPRA menu/recipe program, including but not limited to; recipe and menu import and data validation.
• Work directly with manufacturers and Aramark Canada Supply Chain to obtain product nutrient information.
• Perform quality assurance of migrated recipe and menu data once it is available within the new enterprise system.

Measurement & Performance

• Will be evaluated on speed and accuracy of data migration and quality assurance testing.
• Actively participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) of recipe and menu management software.
• Meet with the CPS Menu & Culinary Support Team on a bi-weekly basis to provide project status updates.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with recipe and menu management software
• Must have an understanding of standardized recipe composition and uses.
• Experience with MS office applications, specifically Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Attention to detail and a passion for database management.
• A self-starter, confident in his/her abilities, self-motivated and able to work effectively with little supervision.
• A high energy, results-oriented individual who can make a difference; an individual who takes initiative, accepts accountability and has a “can do” attitude; has a sense of urgency.
• Has perseverance and the ability to drive complicated projects to a successful conclusion.
• The successful candidate will possess a minimum education credentials of any one of the following:
  • Must have completed or is enrolled, in a bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences OR graduated from a diploma program in food & nutrition management.
