Compass Health Services is a private primary healthcare clinic in Calgary, Alberta, NP-owned and staffed with a focus on providing high-level, compassionate care to our amazing patients. About the Role:

Build your primary care practice in an exclusively NP-led clinic model in Alberta. Flexible shifts and practice models support PT or FT hours for experienced NPs across licenses (adult, family - all ages, and pediatrics). Clinic locations in Calgary NW with expansion plans to other locations in Alberta and the surrounding Calgary areas.

All clinical and administrative support necessary to support your growing practice is included in our compensation and clinic model. You will have full-time clinical and operational support, access to a Telus-based EMR system, NetCare access, a dedicated clinic contact number, scheduling and video conferencing platform, a clinical NP Medical Director, and 7-day a week access to our fully equipped clinic. Our clinic model is reflective of the CPSA accreditation standards.

Day-to-day operations:

• Client meet and greets/intake including health history and a patient health plan creation
• Collaborating on patient goals
• Team collaboration
• In-person clinic
• Virtual clinic appointments
• Charting/use of our CRM (Jane app) and our EHR (Tellus)
• Requisition requests and referrals
• Networking and building a panel
• Client communication
• Team communication
• Patient checkups/support

What we offer to our team:

Pay:

We have created a unique payment structure which allows you to grow and earn a phenomenal wage with our company. You will receive $800 per patient under your panel each year, amortized into monthly payments ($66.66). You will receive a base wage of $4000 a month to start as you build up your panel; once the panel rate surpasses your base rate (i.e., 60 patients), you will move fully to the per-patient rate. At full capacity of 300 patients, you would earn $240,000 per year. You can gain new patients through your current networking groups and patients provided by the clinic. The clinic will also provide the office support to create referrals, manage patient communication, and streamline operations. The estimated time for an NP who wants to gain a full panel of 300 patients would be about 1 year, pending workload. All clinic supplies, rent, advertising, and additional operational costs are covered by the clinic.

Location: Our in-person clinic is located at 4704 Bowness Rd NW, Calgary, AB T3B 0B4. You must live close enough to provide in-person care at our location a minimum of 3 days a week.

Must Haves:

• A valid unrestricted Alberta (All-Ages or Adult-Only) Nurse Practitioner license
• A minimum of two years of practice experience in a primary care setting
• NPs with at least 15 years of combined RN and NP clinical experience, 5 of which must be as a practicing NP
• Laptop/home office setup, a working smartphone with an active plan, and reliable means of transportation.
• Credentialing in at least one specialty area is preferred.
