Our clinics are designed to enhance the accessibility of same-day primary care services to all Manitobans as part of our work to provide more options for non-urgent health care, outside of regular office hours.
We are currently hiring for the St. Boniface Hospital campus location.
Anticipated shifts will generally follow a Monday to Friday evenings rotation however may include days and weekends to meet operational needs.

On s’attend à ce que les quarts de travail soient généralement le soir, en rotation du lundi au vendredi. Il se peut toutefois que la ou le titulaire du poste doive aussi travailler le jour ou les fins de semaine pour répondre aux besoins de l’établissement.
Conformément à la politique sur les services en français du gouvernement du Manitoba et à la politique sur les services en français de l’Office régional de la santé de Winnipeg, l’ORSW s’engage à procurer des services en français et en anglais dans les secteurs qui offrent leurs services aux communautés francophones de Winnipeg. Ce poste est désigné bilingue et l’offre s’adresse aux candidates et candidats bilingues (français, anglais).
Consistent with the principles of primary healthcare, provides access to first level basic healthcare within the scope of nursing practice for individuals, families, groups and communities. As a member of an interdisciplinary community area team, the Primary Care Nurse provides comprehensive healthcare with an emphasis on healthy living, illness prevention (primary and secondary), health education, chronic disease management, clinical intervention, and palliation. Develops and implements a health plan with clients and evaluates success in meeting this plan. Provides ongoing service coordination and links clients with resources.

This position has been designated as bilingual. If no candidates satisfy the bilingualism requirement, candidates meeting all other requirements and qualifications may be considered for the position.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
