Our clinics are designed to enhance the accessibility of same-day primary care services to all Manitobans as part of our work to provide more options for non-urgent health care, outside of regular office hours.
We are currently hiring for the Victoria Hospital campus location.
Anticipated shifts will generally follow a Monday to Friday evenings rotation; however, may include days and weekends to meet operational needs.
Consistent with the French Language Services Policy of the Government of Manitoba and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's French Language Services Policy, the WRHA is committed to offering services in French and English in areas serving francophone communities in Winnipeg. Preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates. If no candidates satisfy the bilingual qualification, candidates meeting all other qualifications may be considered for this position.
Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services and while demonstrating a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the WRHA, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to clients in the community, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed treatments, a leadership role within the healthcare team, and facilitating coordination of client care and discharge. These services may be provided in the home, school, place of business settings, or at a home care nursing clinic.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT. The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Golden West Centennial Lodge, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
