Job Description

Après le succès de notre premier jeu PC / Console: Disney Dreamlight Valley, et l'annonce de notre prochain projet D&D, notre studio se lance dans un nouveau projet de la même envergure!

Nous cherchons un Directeur Créatif pour notre nouveau projet Life Sim / Sandbox Adventure. Ce projet aura une composante live importante après son lancement.

En partant de zéro, tout est à créer et une équipe est à bâtir !

Le Directeur Créatif aura pour mission d'établir la vision du projet, la communiquer clairement à tous les intervenants, diriger l’équipe de Game Design du projet et travailler de pair avec le Producteur Exécutif pour mener une équipe de production.

Les principales responsabilités seront donc de concevoir l’univers, les systèmes de jeu, les mécaniques sociales de notre prochain jeu pc console de pair avec le Producteur Exécutif mais aussi:

• Établir et maintenir la vision du jeu
• Mener le développement des mécaniques et composants du jeu tout au long du projet
• Etre un mentor et un leader pour l’équipe en insufflant et communicant la vision et les piliers du jeu tout au long du développement
• Travailler avec les différentes parties prenantes de l’entreprise (chef de studio, siège de l’entreprise, producteur exécutif, partenaires externes) pour communiquer la vision du jeu
• Diriger une équipe de concepteurs de jeu / concepteurs de niveaux et réviser leur travail au quotidien
• Maintenir un haut niveau de communication et de suivi avec les différents départements.

After the success of our first PC/ Console game : Disney Dreamlight Valley, and the announcement of our next D&D project, our studio has the ambition to launch a new project of the same magnitude!

We're looking for a Creative Director for our new Life Sim Sandbox / Adventure project. This project will have a significant live component after its launch.

From scratch, you have everything to create and a team to build !

The Creative Director will have to forge a vision for a project, clearly communicate that vision to all contributors, direct the project's Game Design team, and work together with the Executive Producer to lead the production team.

The main tasks and responsibilities will be to design the world, game systems, social mechanics of our next ambitious pc console game by working with the Executive Producer but also:

• Establishing and maintaining the vision for the game throughout the duration of the project
• Leading the development of the features and other components of the game throughout the duration of the project
• Being a mentor and a leader for the team by giving a clear vision of the project and inspire them
• Working alongside the different interlocutors in the company (Studio Manager, HQ, Executive Producer, external partners) to communicate the vision of the game
• Leading a team of Game and Level Designers, and reviewing their work daily
• Maintaining a high level of communication and follow-up with the various departments
• Contribute to building a team for the game

Qualifications

Compétences

• 8 ans minimum d’expérience professionnelle en tant que Directeur Créatif , Directeur de jeu ou Game Designer
• Avoir géré du début à la fin et livré au minimum un jeu Pc et/ou Console
• Expérience avec des forts IPs un atout
• Bilingue anglais/français (un atout)
• Expérience avec des outils de prototypage un atout (Unity, Game Maker, etc.)
• Solide expérience avec des outils de présentation (PowerPoint Miro, etc.)

Profil:

• Forte capacité de leadership
• Excellentes aptitudes de communication à l’oral et à l’écrit
• Forte capacité à amener et montrer une vision claire
• Passion pour les jeux vidéo et leur histoire
• Intérêt marqué pour les projets Pc console
• Bonne compréhension de toutes les phases et les métiers dans le jeu vidéo
• Ouvert d’esprit et aimant travailler en équipe.
• Doté d’imagination !

Skills

• A minimum of 8 years' professional experience as a Creative Director, Game Director or Game Designer
• Managed, from start to finish, and delivered at least one Pc/Console game
• Experience with big Ips is an asset
• English-French bilingualism
• Experience with prototyping tools (Unity, GameMaker, etc.)
• Solid experience with presentation software (PowerPoint Miro, etc.)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High capacity to bring and show a clear vision
• Passion for video games and their history
• Marked interest for pc console project
• Good understanding of all the phases and jobs in the video-game industry
