Reporting to: Executive Director to the NLC Foundation
Salary: Classification 6, $25.60- $26.39 per hour, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees receive an additional $0.58/hour in lieu of benefits and 6% vacation pay included with each pay period.
Description:
Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Northern Lights College Foundation, the Clerk will provide front line client services, and clerical and administrative support for the NLC Foundation. Duties will include assisting the Executive Director with donor events, and being responsible for standard office tasks: filing, photocopying, setting up and arranging meetings, mail sorting, overseeing copier/fax equipment, and responding to community inquiries and requests for information. This role will also hold financial responsibility for the Foundation including preparing financial documents, travel requisitions, personal reimbursements, and departmental credit card statements for payments, along with coordinating the processing and use of proper financial coding of purchase orders and cheque requisitions of expenses for the department.
Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 8:00 am - 12:30 pm and Thursday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
