The Coach’s mission is to ensure the success of the store by creating an environment that will provide a premium consumer and employee experience and implementing/executing programs to drive business results. The Coach is a natural leader and supports the Head Coach in the daily operations of the store.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Store Operations

1. Performing all store management functions in absence of Head Coach (Store Manager).
2. Monitor daily operational procedures and ensure the successful operation of the store on the sales floor.
3. Model and supervise efficiencies and best practices.
4. Assist the team in ensuring sales goals and key metrics are met: Sales, Conversion, UPT, ADT, Payroll, Secret Shop, Turnover, Staffing.
5. Ensure compliance in Loss Prevention and Health and Safety measures and hold teams accountable.
6. Communicate and execute action plans to Athletes on upcoming projects, targets, priorities, company initiatives, events, promotions or any other store initiatives as communicated by senior leadership.
7. Ensure delivery of high-level customer service by being knowledgeable on all products offered.
8. Provide consistent coaching on sales, product and training in order to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
9. Ensure sales results, goals and individual accountability are communicated to athletes; hold athletes accountable to achieve individual and team objectives.
10. Role model and empower team to provide a customer-first experience that promotes a sales and service culture.
11. Conduct coaching sessions with Leads and Athletes to ensure performance expectations are met.
12. Ensure that the floor is stocked and merchandised to company standard.
13. Hold Associates accountable for compliance to all company policies and procedures.
14. Role model 100% compliance to all Health and Safety, Harassment and Loss Prevention regulations, policies, and procedures.
15. Analyze sales reports to identify sales opportunities.
16. Support Management in the delivery of on-going training and follow up as required.
17. Support the recruitment of Associates as needed, including pre-screens and interviews.
18. Review and update the Break Room Communication Board.
19. Open and close the store following established procedure.
20. Undertake all other relevant duties as required to ensure the store runs smoothly, efficiently and to expected standard in all areas.

Back of House:

1. Monitors the flow of all shipments and ensures prompt follow up with any discrepancies.
2. Ensure BOH area is clean, organized to ensure a smooth transition between seasons and complies to safety standards.
3. Perform box counts, validate against bills of lading, ensuring discrepancies, shortages or damages are reported immediately.
4. Consistently Control and ensure PRE standard within BOH team.
5. Use Refill scorecard to improve speed of BOH team.
6. Manage implementation and closing of Markdown / Promotion on timely manner.
7. Assist sales floor with product placement & stock replenishment.
8. Use correct Reason Codes, control, and complete mis-mates within P&P guidelines, follow correct transfer and RTV procedures.
9. Check PIV Report, manage negatives and implement negatives reduction plan.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail leadership role.
2. Ability to motivate, train, and coach others to a higher level of success and accountability.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office products and retail business systems.
4. Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
