At our facility in Etobicoke, you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the recovery division of our team as the Night Shift Production Supervisor:
- Accept the full responsibility that comes with his/her position in line with Cascades’ OHS requirements.
- Help set OHS priorities for his/her sector in line with corporate objectives and follow up on them.
- Insist on and create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees in his/her sector.
- Promote sound occupational health and safety management.
- Conduct performance reviews semi-annually, as required.
- Administer employee discipline as necessary.
- Train, develop and motivate plant employees.
- Maintain and analyze production reports.
- Schedule and lead production/crew meetings.
- Identify maintenance and/or repair needs daily in conjunction with maintenance.
- Approve and monitor overtime.
- Update and approve employee time sheets in UltiPro.
- Control overhead costs (line-item assignments).
- Sign off A/P invoices in conjunction with Plant Manager.
- Respond to calls immediately.

You too, put forward your strengths:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a recycling or related industry.
- Previous experience with equipment used in the recycling industry and with related mobile equipment would be a definite asset.
- Proficient in utilizing computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good knowledge of electrical and hydraulic components.
- Must be able to work well in an unsupervised environment and as part of a project team.
- Proven troubleshooting ability with emphasis on safety and reliability.
- Must be well organized.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Must be aware of all safety standards and requirements for maintenance work.
