Night Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to efficiently move products and materials throughout the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities :

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks, ensuring accurate placement in designated areas.
• Perform order picking tasks using an order picker, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Utilize basic math skills to verify quantities and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist in training new employees on safe forklift operation and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by job duties.
• Experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
