Responsibilities:

  • Ensure excellence in customer service
  • Stock shelves with all products received and ensure shelves are neat
  • Ensure all the required work gets completed in a timely manner
  • Unload skids
  • Place items on carts (with wheels locked) and place boxes in front of appropriate aisle and shelves
  • Unload boxes and re-stock shelves
  • Load excess stock on top shelves in store or in back of store (storage area)
  • Break down boxes and clean up aisles
  • Supervise the night crew clerks
  • Write order to fill shelves achieving business standards
  • Manage proper shelf conditions achieving business standards
  • Walk store at end of shift to review instock position and out of stock concerns
  • Communicate with Night Crew colleagues, Department Heads - work together as a team
  • Promote teamwork and a positive morale among employees
  • Manage labour program
  • Safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

  • Education and experience will be considered as part of the screening/interviewing and selection process only
  • Self-motivated, service oriented team player
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize workload
  • Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet the physical demands of the position
