Network Support Analyst

Visionpool Business Services is hiring a HYBRID Network Support Analyst who will provide for the day-to-day administration, management, and support of the site / plant LAN / WAN infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and support the site / plant LAN / WAN infrastructure and associated service objects, as well as LAN drops/access points for local network connected “end user” devices such as desktops, printers, multifunction printers, plotters, scanners, wireless nodes, and mobile devices, as per defined service levels.
• Provide video conferencing technical support.
• Support wireless network operations.
• Provision, operate, maintain, and manage all LAN/WAN services (site and plant) in an integrated managed fashion.
• Support the following network disciplines:

• CA Tool Suite
• NetFlow Analyzer
• Internet and network-related areas such as DNS, Email, SmartFilter, IDS/IPS, etc.
• Citrix Load Balancer
• Cisco hubs, routers, switches
• Cisco Catalyst Switches
• LANSpan IP
• ISDN
• xDSL
• SONET
• Satellite
• Wireless
• Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet
• Cisco/Tandberg video conferencing equipment (gateway, gatekeeper, codecs & bridges)
• VOIP Network Telephony
• Implement software patches, upgrades, or refreshes to hardware or software.
• Plan network changes with third-party vendors.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for coordinating the response and restoration to site LAN/WAN service requests and resolution of performance issues.
• Monitor, gather, and log key system metrics for network connections and devices related to availability, latency, utilization, and memory usage using TCP/IP tools and standards such as ICMP (Ping), SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), and RMON (Remote Monitoring).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Cisco-related certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCSP).
• Cisco/Tandberg related certifications (TCAP, TCEP).
• Experience with Azure Firewall, load balancers, and other networking infrastructure.
