Network Architect (Cisco ACI)

Position Description:

Location: can be seated within proximity to a CGI office in order to support a hybrid work model.

Hybrid: 3 days a week in office
Bilingualism: French is an asset.

The CGI-GTO Toronto Network team manages network services for internal and external clients, covering LAN/WAN, security, unified communications, and cloud solutions across multiple data centers.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Partner with clients to analyze requirements and design network solutions.
• Define architecture, produce documentation, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Configure and support networking equipment, including Cisco ACI and SD-WAN.
• Evaluate performance, optimize network security, and provide operations support.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5–10 years of experience managing large, complex networks.
• Expertise in LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience with network automation, Python, and Ansible is beneficial.
• Ability to document, troubleshoot, and communicate technical solutions effectively.

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or equivalent.
