Network Analyst (Cisco, PowerShell, Python)

Job Description: Our client in Calgary, AB is looking for a Network Analyst (Cisco, PowerShell, Python).

Must Have Primary Skills:

1. University degree or college/technical diploma.
2. 6+ years hands-on experience with Cisco Network Administration or similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
3. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
4. Experience with one or more scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
5. Excellent oral and written English skills, and ability to present complex concepts.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong teamwork orientation, adaptable and highly personable.
7. Ensure timely resolution of all operational tickets, with exceptional customer service engagement.
8. Participate in managing the team’s incident queue in Remedy ticket management system.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills:

1. Previous experience and working knowledge with SD-WAN and software-defined architecture is preferred.

Proven Experience In:

1. CCNP certification preferred.
2. Experience in the following technologies:

• Cisco routers and switches;
• IOS, NX-OS;
• HPE Aruba switches, Aruba Central;
• BGP, OSPF, STP, SNMP, DHCP;
• Meraki, HPE Aruba WiFi;
• Flex VPN, MPLS, LTE/cellular;
• Azure/AWS Cloud networking;
• Citrix Netscaler and ADM;
• Solarwinds Orion, Zabbix, InfoBlox;
• Wireless communication backhaul (Ceragon, Redline, Cambium, DragonWave).
