Nortech is seeking a Senior NDE Examiner to join our team in Fort St. John and Grande Prairie. Level 2 CGSB will be required in RT and MT as a minimum.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working in a safe manner and following Nortech Safety Program requirements
- Understanding the Quality Manual, Codes and Client Specifications
- Performance of NDE examinations in accordance with applicable specifications
- Train, supervise and direct Trainee’s, Cedo’s and other NDE personnel
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
- Maintain the mobile NDE unit and all equipment required to carry out the work
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated and appropriate documentation is available
- Generate NDE reports and daily field cost reports and submit for client approval daily
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Vocational training in NDE methods with documentation
- CGSB Level II RT and MT
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
- Knowledge of NDT equipment
- Minimum 3 years experience performing NDE examinations in oil and gas
- Generic safety certifications

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:
The job will require an able body and mind that can work long hours in rough conditions. Extreme temperatures, harsh driving conditions and occupational hazards are common. Being able to climb ladders, use fall arrest and enter confined spaces with poor ergonomics will be required.
