In this role, you will be accountable for driving growth and profitability in alignment with the National International Supply Chain Strategies, leading business development activities across three regions. Your focus will be on successfully onboarding new clients and expanding existing accounts while developing and implementing processes to optimize the efficiency of the Business Development team across various sales channels, including Key Account Management and Business Unit Sales. You will create a proactive target list to enhance pipeline throughput and hit ratios, fostering collaboration by sharing best practices in solution design and value creation with the Global International Supply Chain team. Additionally, you will represent the country and our customers, providing insights on future service needs to exceed expectations and ensure Kuehne + Nagel is recognized as the preferred partner. Education: Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Supply Chain Management or a related field, along with professional certification in Freight Forwarding; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Sea Logistics within a Business Unit/Functional Unit of International Supply Chain, including 1 year in project management and 1 year in leadership roles, with a strong focus on customer management.
Skills: Proven expertise in strategy planning and execution, product/service development and management, supply chain management, and customer service excellence, complemented by excellent analytical, communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional influencing and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and promote collaboration among relevant teams and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
