Job Title: National Sales Manager, Therapeutic Dermatology


Location: Thornhill, Ontario


Job Description:

Reporting to the Prescription Business Unit Lead, the National Inline Sales Manager is a key member of the Prescription Business Leadership Team. They are responsible for developing a clear sales execution plan leveraging a combination of face to face and virtual sales colleagues for our topical acne and rosacea portfolios, with the purpose of delivering on the Business Unit sales targets. The role will be an integral member of the cross functional team, understanding the brand goals and strategies and collaborating with marketing, medical and other key functions to meet the needs of our customers, deliver on business objectives and establishing Galderma as a leader and trusted partner.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with our Contract Sales Organization (CSO) to effectively shape and deploy a team of face to face and virtual sales representatives, maximizing customer engagements and coverage, identifying opportunities and fostering collaboration.
  2. Establish territory and national sales targets, and build insight driven business plans, including customer interaction targets to achieve sales goals.
  3. Partner with CSO to build a team of high performing face to face and virtual sales professionals, including hiring, coaching, talent development and performance management that can consistently deliver results in a changing competitive market and landscape.
  4. Proactively work with the sales training team, building and executing on a comprehensive training plan to develop and reinforce skills and capabilities.
  5. Actively partner with marketing to shape brand/customer strategies and initiatives that drive demand for Galderma products while meeting the needs of customers and their patients.
  6. Act as the voice of the sales colleagues, proactively sharing customer insights with cross functional colleagues to shape the strategic plan.
  7. Build relationships with key customers across Canada, establishing a customer engagement plan and establishing Galderma as a trusted partner.
  8. Leverage available data and analytics to develop national plans, assess territory performance, establish and reinforce a culture of decision making and driving results through data.
  9. Adopt Galderma systems, champion usage with the sales team and proactively identify how the Business can best support system usage and extracting relevant insights.
  10. Deliver a variety of administrative tasks timely and accurately.
  11. Demonstrate ethics and integrity while modeling behaviors consistent with company standards and policies for business and compliance related matters.
  12. Report all adverse events as per corporate policy.
  13. Other duties may be assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Relevant University Degree in business administration or science.
  2. Demonstrated success in leading both face to face and virtual sales teams to deliver on results.
  3. Experience in dermatology, promotion to general practitioners.
  4. Understanding of Canada's healthcare network, including future trends and potential barriers.
  5. Proven ability to work cross functionally.
  6. Excellent customer management skills, demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships.
  7. Strong communication skills (written and verbal), fluency in English and French is an asset.
  8. Able to manage through change, and ambiguity, while maintaining colleague engagement.
  9. Understanding of key systems and software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Veeva and PowerBI.
  10. Must maintain a high degree of integrity and ethics at all times.
  11. Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.
