What to expect
This role will be responsible for building the National Key Account channel strategy and driving balanced sales with new and existing customers. Ensuring ambitious National Key Account channel growth through HoReCa and Office Channels. Responsible for accounts across Canada seeking high visibility and Net Sales (NNS) contribution within large key accounts.
A day in the life of National Key Account Manager
- Develop and drive the national Horeca and Office Key Account strategy, finding opportunities in different size clusters (small, medium, large) and international, national, or provincial markets.
- Establish annual key account plans with high-level acquisition targets and a competitive advantage based on market insights, competition analysis, and shopper insights.
- Prospect and develop new national strategic accounts, assessing their potential and collaborating with the Account Manager team.
- Manage relationships with national key accounts, cultivating positive and efficient long-term partnerships, ensuring consistent strategy application, and coordinating with Marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functions.
- Excel in execution by building comprehensive customer plans, setting annual targets for capsule and machine sales, developing operational plans, and coordinating promotional activities with buying offices and marketing teams.
Role requirements
- Proficiency in English and French languages is necessary, as this position involves collaborating with customers across the Canadian market and/or worldwide.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Marketing, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience reading and understanding a P&L model and the ability to be creative and bring innovative solutions.
- Excel in strategic negotiation with Senior level Managers using MSA National Agreements.
- Be able to showcase excellent communication and project management skills.
- Candidate must possess a full valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
