As part of our Canadian Education leadership team, you will play an integral role in ensuring we are designing and delivering sales programs to support the needs of our K-20 customers and drive business growth. This is a highly strategic role that requires working across complex environments, inspiring and influencing others, and making effective business decisions. In this role, you will partner with Apple’s education, channel and reseller teams in Canada as well with Worldwide teams to design and deliver programs that accelerate scale and impact.
Description
As the National Education Sales Programs Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining education sales programs throughout Canada. You will play a crucial role in ensuring Apple is at the forefront of providing first class programs that help education institutions successfully adopt Apple technology and deliver return on investment. This is a new role that requires an enthusiastic self-starter, who will own a plan, drive a strategy and ensure positive outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of an Apple Professional Learning partner ecosystem.
- Influence strategic direction of WW Customer Success Programs, including Apple Professional Learning, Apple Distinguished Schools, Apple Authorized Education Training Centres, as well as any future pre- and post-sales education Customer Success programs for the K-20 market.
- Partner with authorized education resellers and sales teams to support their business needs and drive relevant adoption of core programs.
- Collaborate closely with other WW Education teams and other relevant teams (e.g. Legal, Compliance, Government Engagement, etc.) to ensure strong alignment, cohesiveness and a one Apple approach, ensuring a seamless customer experience across advocacy and customer success programs run across the business.
Minimum Qualifications
- Typically requires minimum of 10+ years of related experience. For example, indirect channel development, advocacy programs, and/or sales programs.
- Background working with channel partners.
- Demonstrated forward-thinking capabilities to see beyond the current state, identify risks/opportunities, and drive toward the desired outcome.
- Passion and self-motivation, with outstanding attention to detail, sense of urgency, and follow-through.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Apple education ecosystem and high level of proficiency with Apple products and services.
- Understanding of the Canadian Education vertical, including go-to-market strategy, customer profiles, market trends and challenges, key use cases, associated solutions, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to motivate and inspire others, articulate vision and purpose, and advocate for Apple’s values.
- Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate organizational structures, and manage complex relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to gain alignment on program objectives and priorities with senior leaders.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure and clarity where none exists.
