Term/Status: Temporary Full-Time
Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30-15:00 // 30.00 - 37.50 hours per week

Hourly Wage: $22.00 as per collective agreement
The Role:
DDA’s Day programs provide supportive group programs and activities for Adults with diverse abilities. Each participant is supported to develop personal goals that reflect their strengths, needs, and preferences. Goal areas often include recreation and leisure, health and wellness, communication, volunteerism, and life skills development.
We imagine a music therapist using music and/or elements of music (like sound, rhythm, and harmony) to accomplish goals, like reducing stress, encouraging self-expression, social interaction, and communication. This role will include the planning and delivery of music-related group activities to explore various music genres, provide exposure to musical instruments, singing, dancing, and fostering enjoyment. The successful applicant will help with hosting our annual summer event which typically includes a music-related activity for participants to share their talents and love of music with their peers.
