Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a genuine love for teaching children. This role involves creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can explore their musical talents and develop their skills. The Music Teacher will work with students of various ages, fostering a love for music while enhancing their understanding of musical concepts.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
2. Teach music theory, vocal techniques, and instrument skills in an engaging manner.
3. Organize and lead music classes, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.
5. Prepare students for performances, recitals, or competitions as appropriate.
6. Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
7. Maintain classroom discipline while promoting a respectful learning environment.
8. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Skills

1. Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
2. Strong background in early childhood education is preferred.
3. Ability to educate students using various teaching methods tailored to individual learning styles.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.52-$51.36 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
