The Abbotsford Arts Council's programming includes monthly visual art exhibitions at our Kariton House Gallery, quarterly exhibitions by Indigenous artists in the Downie Wenjack Legacy Space, and two annual music festivals: Jam in Jubilee and Mill Lake Music.
Jam in Jubilee occurs Thursday evenings in July and features free family-friendly live music, an Indigenous artist spotlight, food trucks and beer from local vendors, and artist and community tables. Check out coverage of last year's Jam at our website below.
Jam in Jubilee was previously overseen by a festival coordinator. The position has been divided into two directorial positions: music director and grounds director. The music director is passionate about amplifying local and regional musicians, showcasing a diverse yet cohesive selection of artists for a music and visual arts festival, and creating safer and more inclusive spaces and events.
Event management and live entertainment booking experience required. Music festival experience is an asset but not required.
We recognize lived experience and volunteer experience.
