• Business Unit: Wealth Management Data and Analytics team works with the Canadian Wealth Management Operations to provide data-driven solutions to various Wealth business applications data. The position involves maintaining data extraction, transformation processes and reporting development to support regulatory, compliance and daily business operations.
• Project: The position involves maintaining data extraction, transformation processes and reporting development to support regulatory, compliance and daily business operations. This role will be working to build a new data basis, utilizing MS Access and SQL and to create monthly reporting processes.

• Working closely with the Canadian Wealth Management Operations team to support day-to-day reporting activities.
• Working with data investigation, analysis, development and maintaining a strong knowledge of wealth management business workflow to deliver the expected solution.
• As a Developer Specialist who ensures re-engineering, works with business to understand existing functionalities, and develops new solutions and writes scripts for analysis, testing and regression. Understanding relationship database structure and how the data maps to various business applications.
• The core function will be to build a new MS Access database to calculate Advisor commission clawbacks for early redemptions of GICs (GIC Clawbacks).
• Identify programming / analysis skill gaps and keep up with the new data analysis tools and programming software to consistently improve self and existing processes.
• Will be responsible for performing heavy data-driven analytics and reconciliations for complex calculation logic in various wealth application data which is highly statistical and computation intensive.
• 5 years experience as a Developer
• Understanding on wealth business knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts
• In-depth knowledge of Data analytics and Business intelligence – SQL, Microsoft Access, Microsoft VBA or VB .Net and Power BI.
• Prior Financial Institution Experience.
• Strong Analytical Mindset
• Time Management Experience.
• University degree in a quantitative discipline (mathematics, science, computer science, or engineering).
• The ideal candidate would have working in a financial environment and possess an understanding of GIC Products.
• Initial 1st round interview – hiring manager (1 hour)
• 2nd round interview – 45 to an hour.
