Aplin is partnering with a leading aerospace maintenance organization to find an experienced Hangar Operations Manager to oversee heavy and line maintenance operations. This role is pivotal in leading hangar teams, ensuring compliance, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead day-to-day hangar operations, including project oversight and workforce supervision
2. Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations, safety standards, and internal policies
3. Collaborate with internal teams on planning, tooling, staffing, and hangar capacity
4. Maintain high standards of customer service and address concerns promptly
5. Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive, respectful workplace culture
6. Manage project budgets, non-billable hours, and labor allocation
7. Participate in long-term planning and capital equipment budgeting

Qualifications

1. Minimum 6 years’ aviation maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role
2. Valid Transport Canada A.M.E. license
3. Experience in MRO or heavy maintenance environments preferred
4. Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills
5. Knowledge of quality assurance and financial forecasting
6. Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn specialized software
7. Willingness to travel as needed
